Job Description
Responsibilities

• This role focuses on updating, maintaining, and executing the day-to-day mobility engineering work within VMware Workspace ONE.
• The Mobility Engineer will apply configuration changes, deploy and adjust policies, manage OS and application patching using platform capabilities, and ensure devices remain secure and compliant.
• By supporting the broader engineering team through hands-on execution, clear documentation, and continuous improvement of workflows, this role strengthens our modern endpoint ecosystem and enhances the overall crew experience.

Qualifications

• Robust experience managing mobile devices (iOS/Android) in VMware Workspace ONE UEM. Ability to update and deploy profiles, compliance rules, apps, and policies.
• Understanding of patching workflows, including Workspace ONE Time Windows for OS/app updates.
• Familiarity with Workspace ONE Access and integrating device posture with Okta for secure authentication.
• Proficiency troubleshooting enrollment issues, secure app access, VPN/Tunnel configurations, and policy conflicts.
• Experience with mobile application management (VPP, Managed Google Play, internal apps).
• Knowledge of BYOD vs corporate-owned deployment models and associated security considerations. Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Python, or UEM API usage).
