Job Title: Buyer I Location: 5050 Nathan Lane N. Plymouth, MN 55442 Duration: 12 Months Work Arrangement: Onsite Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM OR 9 AM - 5 PM Pay Range: $27 - $30 per hour (W2) We are seeking a “Buyer I” to join one of our leading healthcare clients. What You’ll Do Create and process purchase orders, both direct and indirect, in accordance with documented procurement processes to include standard, subcontract, stock transfer, down‑payment, and discount orders. Plan and schedule deliveries to optimize inventories in support of project demands by working with cross‑functional teams to include engineering, sourcing, planning, category, and shipping‑receiving. Process purchase requisitions and confer with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule, reviewing quotes and acknowledgements for accuracy. Manage orders through completion and execute invoice resolution through order closure. Lead special projects as requested. Experience You’ll Bring Good working knowledge of Procurement concepts, procedures, and practices General knowledge of SAP ERP system preferred Will perform this job in a quality system environment Working knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures, and practices Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in purchasing/commodity management. Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment. Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects. Education Requirements HS diploma or GED is acceptable as long as the required/preferred skills/experience is met.
