As an Automation Mechanical Technician III, you’ll play a key role in building high‑performance automated equipment from the ground up. Automation Mechanical Technician III Job Duties and Responsibilities: Perform all responsibilities typically assigned to entry-level and mid-level Mechanical Technicians Assemble standard and custom mechanical components for automated systems Align and verify tooling to ensure proper fit, form, and function Troubleshoot and debug stations, modules, and systems with Manufacturing Project Leads (MPLs) and Supervisors Complete assigned builds accurately, efficiently, and to quality standards Support electrical routing and control assembly as needed Collaborate with MPLs/Supervisors to redline or modify mechanical components Perform field service including installation and troubleshooting Participate in customer installations, machine acceptance, and shift work when needed Support measurement studies such as gage R&R and CpK Serve as Module Project Leader for smaller‑scope systems Contribute to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)/Site Acceptance Training (SAT) preparation and execution Maintain organized, safe work areas aligned with 5S principles Assist in training Mechanical Technician 1 and 2 team members Automation Mechanical Technician Qualifications: Associate degree in mechanical/electrical field or 3–5 years of relevant experience Cross‑training in electrical assembly (preferred) Proficiency with entry and intermediate level Mechanical Tech tasks Familiarity with machining tools such as mills, lathes, and grinders Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation Experience with BOM changes, purchasing, and materials handling Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift 25–50 lbs unassisted Willingness to work in physically demanding environments with PPE Ability to travel for field service and customer installations Flexibility to perform additional related duties as needed Benefits: We take care of our people — and their futures. 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and life insurance Short‑and long‑term disability Paid time off & paid holidays Paid parental leave ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) Tuition reimbursement A collaborative, innovative environment where your ideas matter #J-18808-Ljbffr
