Overview
Registered Nurse – NICU in a neonatal intensive care unit environment in Dayton, MN. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: 12 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,434–$2,478. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12 nights). This travel, temporary assignment places you in a NICU setting to provide expert neonatal care and family-centered support.

Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, neonate-focused nursing care within the NICU, applying standards of nursing practice to assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop and revise the plan of care for neonates and families, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, and delegate appropriate tasks.
- Monitor patient status, operate NICU monitoring equipment, administer medications and therapies per orders, and document in the Epic electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, case management, and other care providers; support family education, feeding plans, and parental involvement in care.
- Ensure safety, infection control, pain management, and developmental care practices; participate in rounds and quality-improvement activities.
- Adapt care to unit-specific workflows and policies, providing leadership and mentoring as needed within the NICU team.

Requirements
- Licensure: Minnesota RN license; temporary MN RN license accepted with submittal.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association or ARC); NRP.
- Experience: 2+ years of RN experience; 1 year of travel nursing experience; Level III NICU experience; newborn population experience.
- Technology: Epic EMR experience.
- Additional: 2 supervisory references with dates employed listed; ability to work in a NICU environment; eligibility to work in the USA must be noted on profile if applicable.
