Production Supervisor

Location: Moody, Alabama Hours: 8:30 - 5 PM We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, driving productivity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and experience managing employees in a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet production schedules and customer demands. Lead, coach, and develop production employees while promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork. Monitor production performance, efficiency, quality, and safety metrics. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and other departments to support operational goals. Conduct employee training, performance reviews, and corrective actions as needed. Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning. Maintain accurate production records and reports. Support inventory, cycle counts, and other operational initiatives as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing required. Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees. Experience with production scheduling, reporting, and performance metrics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
