Overview
ER Registered Nurse travel assignment in Middlebury, Vermont, United States. Start date September 28, 2026 for 16 weeks. Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12). Weekly pay: $2,587–$2,670. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. No guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ED patients across the age range (newborn to geriatric), including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Perform urgent and emergent interventions: IV access, administer medications and drips, EKGs, and invasive monitoring as indicated; manage airway and ventilatory support within ED protocols
- Respond to trauma, STEMI, and stroke alerts; coordinate rapid transports to higher levels of care when needed
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, ED technicians, and ancillary staff; assist with procedures and patient transfers
- Document all care in the Epic charting system; manage medication administration through Pyxis and maintain accurate handoffs

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of in-unit clinical experience; at least 2 years in the specialty; minimum 1 prior travel assignment completed
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC (or equivalency), TNCC; NIHSS and NRP also required; TNCC or proof of class with date applied; NIHSS required prior to start
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and holidays; holiday coverage required (must be available to work 2 of 4 holidays)
