The role requires demonstration of competency for all on‑job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality. It is very physical and requires the ability to use a hand truck to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds over a distance of up to 300 feet continuously throughout the day, move products up and down 30‑degree slopes, and stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level up to 7‑1/2 feet. Responsibilities Ensures that product received from plant or other plants is recorded correctly. Loads and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met. Maintains cleanliness of work area. Performs other duties as directed by supervisor. Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.). Performs other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures. Preferred Qualifications One year of shipping or related experience. Essential Job Requirements High School or GED and must have demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.
