Description: Patient encounters per shift range from 5 to 10. This position requires physicians to be board certified. The typical credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days. The facility operates at a trauma level of 0. Preferred skills include ventilation management in pediatric patients. Required skills include central line placement and needle pneumothorax management. Other preferred skills involve lumbar puncture, arterial lines, and chest tube insertion. EKG interpretation is a required skill. Conscious and deep sedation skills are not required. Suturing of minor lacerations and circumcision are not necessary for this role. The role is available as soon as possible and ongoing.
