Overview Optometrist — 338 Alexander Spring Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015, USA • Full-Time About the Job Comprehensive eye exams: Perform detailed eye exams to identify, diagnose, and manage conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. Proficient in refracting Prescriptions: Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids Patient care: Provide pre- and postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgery Counseling: Counsel patients on eye and general health, including contact lens care, visual hygiene, and lighting arrangements Collaborate with our team to provide comprehensive patient care. Refer patients to MD for any needed surgery as well as other healthcare providers as needed Retail: Supervise the retail aspects of vision care products, including selling eye-care products Compensation and Benefits Salary with bonus Medical and Dental insurance Malpractice Coverage Vacation/Sick Time/Holidays CME Allowance 401K Retirement Relocation Assistance Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after initial guarantee period. This opportunity requires services Monday – Friday (no evenings or weekends, unless you are covering call) in an office setting.
