Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional supporting high school students beginning September 2026 through the end of the school year. Located in the Plymouth, MA area, you’ll collaborate with educators and staff to provide hands-on assistance that enriches students’ learning, engagement, and personal growth. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- Active Paraprofessional certification or credential (required)
- Demonstrated experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependable, flexible, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment
- Ability to support individual students or small groups as directed by teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and adapting materials for diverse learners
- Provide individualized or small group support to students on caseload
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Monitor student progress, encouraging independence and confidence
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other staff to deliver comprehensive support
- Maintain documentation of student activities and progress as requested
