Host

A Host is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for presenting exceptional customer service to ensure the guests' first impression of the restaurant is a positive one. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and welcoming guests with a genuine smile and positive attitude
• Engaging with guests, anticipating their needs, and responding promptly to any inquiries or concerns
• Maintaining knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant promotions to provide accurate information to guests
• Handling guest complaints or issues professionally or bringing them to the manager when necessary
• Assisting with running food, delivering and/or refilling guests' drinks
• Guiding guests to their tables and presenting them with menus
• Taking to-go orders over the phone and in person
• Engaging with guests to ensure they're happy with food and service
• Refilling drinks and clearing plates as needed during guest's dining experience
• Providing great customer service
• Providing highchairs and other requested items to the guest

Qualifications include:

• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred
• Organizational skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to multitask
• Availability on weekdays, weekends, nights, mornings, and holidays
• Must be able to read and write in English and handle math calculations
