Shipping Lead

Position Overview The Group Leader assists in overseeing the daily production of bagged and boxed products, ensuring efficiency, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards. This role supports the supervisor by maintaining a safe work environment and coordinating the operation of various baggers (automated and manual), printers, boxing, stretch wrappers, tape machines, and other support equipment to optimize production. Key Responsibilities Production Support: Make sure the team stays on schedule and meets production goals. Review orders for critical information and prepare products for shipment. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Team Coordination: Assign tasks and help team members as needed. Be the go-to person for questions or concerns from the team. Quality Checks: Keep an eye on product quality and report any problems to the supervisor. Help ensure all products meet company standards. Safety and Rules: Ensure team members follow safety guidelines and company policies. Report any hazards or safety concerns. Communication: Keep the supervisor updated on how things are going. Share feedback from the team to improve processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with others, keeping things organized, and helping the team succeed. Qualifications Experience working in a bagging, packing, or manufacturing environment. Good communication and organizational skills. Willingness to lead by example and support team members. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and move around for most of the workday. Capable of safely lifting and handling up to 50 pounds when required. Educational Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Additional secondary education a plus Choose your Shift 7AM - 3:30PM(8 hrs Mon - Friday) Pay $17-18/HR based off experience and interview #J-18808-Ljbffr
