Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Administering hands-on therapy techniques, including exercises, stretches, and modalities under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Educating patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and self-care strategies to facilitate at-home recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress during therapy sessions, responding to changes and adapting care plans as necessary.
• Maintaining equipment and workspace cleanliness, ensuring all tools are safe and sanitary for patient use.
• Utilizing trigger point therapy techniques and other modalities when appropriate to target specific issues affecting mobility.
• Supporting occupational health initiatives, such as ergonomic assessments and workplace injury prevention programs, in collaboration with our healthcare team.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
