Head of Growth

Job DescriptionTitle: Head of Growth\nLocation: San Francisco - Onsite 5 days a week\nCompensation: $210-250K + Equity\nIndustry: Developer Tool - Series A\n\nWe’re looking for a Head of Growth to take ownership of how we build awareness, generate demand, and turn market interest into revenue. This is an early-stage role with a lot of room to build. You’ll work closely with the founders, determine where we should be spending our time and resources, and create the programs that become the foundation of the company’s GTM engine.\n\nWhat you’ll own:\n\n Establish our growth strategy and determine which audiences, messages, and channels we should prioritize\n Develop a consistent flow of qualified opportunities through a mix of inbound, outbound, content, events, and creative campaigns\n Build our presence in the market through thought leadership, customer stories, social content, partnerships, and other high-impact initiatives\n Test unconventional ideas and emerging acquisition channels, quickly measuring results and scaling the ones that gain traction\n Own the marketing tech stack, reporting, and experimentation process so we have a clear understanding of what is driving growth\n Work directly with the founders and sales team to sharpen positioning, improve messaging, and turn customer feedback into better GTM programs\n Build the function from the ground up, with the opportunity to eventually hire and lead a broader marketing team\n\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n 5+ years working in growth, demand generation, or marketing, with meaningful experience at startups\n A track record of creating demand without relying on a large existing marketing organization or budget\n Someone who naturally thinks in experiments: form a hypothesis, launch quickly, measure it, and adjust\n Strong commercial instincts and an ability to connect marketing activity to actual revenue\n Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to make a complex product easy to understand\n Comfortable working directly with founders and taking ownership without needing a defined playbook\n A builder mentality. You’re excited by the opportunity to create the strategy, systems, and processes rather than inherit them\n\n\nNice to have:\n\n Experience with B2B SaaS, AI, or other technical products\n Experience selling into technical, operational, or executive audiences\n Previous experience as an early marketing hire\n Experience with tools such as HubSpot, Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn, Figma, Canva, or similar GTM platforms\n\n\nCompensation:\n$210-250K + Equity\n\nBenefits:\n\n Medical, Vision, Dental insurance\n 401K\n Unlimited PTO\n Fully stocked kitchen\n Fun team offsites and events\n\n
