Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP's annual incentive plan.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Reports to the Capital Projects Development Manager and is responsible for leading the development, analysis, coordination, and management of the capital project and related process areas for the North American Container (NAC) business.
• Will oversee a team of Capital Analysts with support of the Capital Projects Development Manager, and will be responsible for the development and management of the team.
• Interfaces routinely with other NAC personnel including division engineering, regional / plant controllers and management
• Management, training and development of a team of Capital Analysts
• Coordination, analysis, preparation, and process management of capital project development including project financial models, capacity balancing and other standard project templates and tools.
• Coordinate, track and manage project entry processes as assigned by the business and project reviews.
• Knowledge of financial policies and procedures outlined in the financial policies and capital investment manuals as they relate to NAC facilities.
• Provide feedback regarding capital project preparation and approval process participants.
• Lead spending analysis, forecasting, project and plan tracking.
• Capital related accounting and financial policy stewardship.
• Lead continuous improvement and documentation of capital procedures, analytical tools and processes.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, business or related field required
• 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience; work experience in manufacturing facility highly desired. Corrugated, printing, packaging and/or related finance experience in manufacturing environment a plus
• Experience performing independent Financial Analysis
• Ability to work with a variety of functional areas within the organization

• Excellent hands on experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word. Analysis for Office and Power BI are a plus.
