The Role

As an AI Data Engineer at Kyndryl, you'll be the architect behind the high-performance data infrastructure that powers our autonomous systems. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure services Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data Implement data integration solutions across multiple sources Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance Optimize data processing performance and cost efficiency Develop reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices Monitor and troubleshoot Azure-based data pipelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams Support analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives Implement CI/CD pipelines and maintain documentation

Required Qualifications

6–8+ years of experience in Data Engineering Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services Strong proficiency in SQL and Python Experience in building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions Solid understanding of data modeling principles

Technical Skills

Azure Technologies: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Analytics, Azure SQL Database Azure Databricks, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault Azure Monitor, Microsoft Entra ID Programming & Tools: Python, SQL, PySpark, with basic knowledge of Java (preferred) Big Data & Integration: Apache Spark, Databricks REST APIs, Event Hubs, Azure Functions Database: SQL
