HELOC Mortgage Underwriter

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the HELOC Mortgage Underwriter will evaluate and underwrite Home Equity Line of Credit applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. Key responsibilities Review and analyze loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness Make informed underwriting decisions based on risk assessment and credit guidelines Collaborate with loan officers and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan approval process Required qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage underwriting, specifically with HELOCs Strong knowledge of mortgage regulations and compliance requirements Proficiency in underwriting software and loan processing systems Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred Active mortgage underwriter license or certification is a plus
