High School Math Teacher

Math Teacher | FTE 1.0 Fiscal School Year: 2026-2027

SPECIFICS

10 months, Full-time. Unaffiliated Salary Schedule. Reports to: Building Principal.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s). Must be Highly Qualified in Math (EX). Demonstrates teaching, leadership, and strong written and oral communication skills. Must meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) standards. Demonstrates ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities. Create a positive educational climate for students to learn in. Provide grades and administer assessments timely. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Provide ongoing communication to parents on student progress and classroom activities. Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures. Engage students in the learning process and differentiate as needed. Other duties as directed.
