Instructional Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Assistant to support elementary classroom instruction at a local elementary school in Aston, PA. In this role, you will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to promote academic achievement, foster positive behavior, and support the social-emotional growth of elementary students within a traditional school-based schedule.

• Provide classroom instructional support to help teachers deliver daily lessons effectively.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide targeted help.
• Support educational interventions tailored to meet diverse student needs.
• Reinforce classroom expectations and procedures to maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.
• Assist with student assessments and documentation to help track academic and behavioral progress.
• Perform other support duties as assigned to ensure a smoothly running classroom.

• High School Diploma required (Associate's Degree or higher preferred).
• Prior experience working with elementary students preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and parents.
• A patient, encouraging, and supportive attitude suitable for a vibrant school environment.
