Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant: Breast Care, Saratoga Springs, NY Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care Full-Time, Day shift, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner: Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care in Saratoga Springs, New York Compensation Range: $114,000 to $141,000 The Saratoga Hospital Center for Breast Care provides comprehensive prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of breast disease. Led by fellowship‑trained breast surgeons, advanced practice providers, nurse navigators, and a multidisciplinary team, we coordinate care from initial assessment through survivorship. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who thrives in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment and has experience with oncologic care and breast health. Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State is required. Oncology experience is preferred. Interest in women's health and breast cancer survivorship is desired. Responsibilities Obtain, document, and update medical history; identify health risks; perform physical examinations; conduct preventive screening procedures. Order and review diagnostic tests; prescribe and manage pharmacological therapies. Evaluate effectiveness of the care plan; adjust as needed to achieve health goals. Make referrals to other health professionals; admit and discharge patients appropriately. Participate in team meetings and conferences to enhance interdisciplinary care. Serve on departmental and multidisciplinary committees. Participate in and develop quality improvement projects and standards of care. Maintain current knowledge related to professional practice. Maintain required professional documentation including licenses, certifications, infection control, ACLS/BLS/DEA, and system requirements. Act as a resource to staff and provide educational programs as needed. Commit to a weekend call schedule (~1:5); respond to urgent follow‑up requests; hospital rounding on post‑surgical patients as needed; provide call coverage once per month.
