Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner: Nocturnist Hospitalist , Saratoga Springs, New York

Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner: Nocturnist Hospitalist, Saratoga Springs, New York Full‑time Night Shift Hospitalist position (8 p.m. – 8 a.m.) at Saratoga Hospital Medical Group – Inpatient Medicine. Weekly shift schedule: 12 nights, 14 shifts per month. Eligible for fellowship program for new graduates and an abbreviated program for Advanced Practice Providers changing specialties. Responsibilities Assess and process admissions via Emergency Department: History and Physical, admitting orders, consultation with Nocturnists. Obtain and update medical history; perform physical examinations; conduct preventive screenings; formulate differential diagnosis and plan of care. Order and review diagnostic tests, prescribe and manage pharmacological therapies. Determine effectiveness of care plans, reassess, and modify as needed. Admit and discharge patients to appropriate service; make referrals to other health professionals and community agencies. Participate in team meetings, conferences, committees, quality improvement projects and standards of care. Maintain required professional documentation (state license, certifications, ACLS/BLS, DEA, infection control, etc.). Act as resource to staff and implement educational programs as needed. Qualifications Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of New York. Highly functional self‑starter with confidence and a degree of independence. Experience preferred; fellowship or abbreviated program available. Strong interpersonal and medical decision‑making skills. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $108,500 – $142,000 (annual).
