• Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift. Weekend rotation of every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday, 7:30 AM4:00 PM).
• Pharmacy Hours: MondayFriday 8 AM7 PM; SaturdaySunday 8 AM4 PM.

About This Role

• This Pharmacy Technician I position supports our outpatient pharmacy and Meds to Beds discharge program, ensuring patients have a smooth, safe, and supportive transition home after hospitalization. You'll play an essential role in helping patients understand and access their medications before they leave the hospital making an immediate impact on their care experience.
• You will work in a fast?paced, patient?focused outpatient pharmacy environment that delivers both traditional retail pharmacy services and specialized support for discharged patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, filling, packaging, and labeling medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Support the Meds to Beds program by delivering discharge prescriptions to hospital units and reviewing pickup needs with patients.
• Perform data entry, insurance processing, and resolve common claim issues.
• Engage with patients courteously while providing high?quality customer service.
• Maintain accurate inventory, restock supplies, and follow proper medication handling procedures.
• Support general outpatient pharmacy operations to ensure timely and safe medication delivery.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED. (Required)
• Registered Technician (PA State Board of Pharmacy) (Required)
• Pharmacy Technician Certification - CPhT (Required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks in a fast?paced setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician in a fast-paced pharmacy environment (retail, outpatient, or hospital).
