Details Work in the CT department of a Level III Trauma, acute care hospital with 286 staffed beds Perform inpatient, outpatient (Friday only), ER, and scheduled interventional (Friday only) CT examinations Serve patient populations ranging from newborn through geriatrics Utilizes PACS system for imaging Epic charting preferred Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM Participate in an on-call rotation Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, approximately every 4-5 weeks No floating between service lines or to sister facilities required Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required Current BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required Must be a graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or have completed a clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation State license must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses are not accepted License required if applicable Radiation badge required and must be provided by the agency Skills required include starting IVs, administering contrast media, performing biopsies, and using the PACS system Epic EMR experience preferred Additional Information Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols for physician interpretation Reports to the Manager of CT and Director of Radiology Scrub color requirement is teal top and black bottom First-time travelers will be considered Previous MUSC perm staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local Non-local candidates are prioritized over local candidates Facility may cancel up to 1 shift per 2 weeks Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams American Traveler Job ID #P-736637.
