Infrastructure Systems AdministratorThe Infrastructure Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting, securing, and continuously improving ConServe's hybrid technology environment, including server, cloud, endpoint, telephony, and data protection platforms. Working under the direction of the AVP, Network Operations, this position helps ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, security, and recoverability of ConServe's Information Technology infrastructure. This is a long-term contract with the potential to go permanent.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Install, configure, administer, secure, and optimize network, server, storage, endpoint, application, cloud, collaboration, and IP telephony systems across on-premises and cloud-hosted environmentsAdminister and support modern identity, access, and collaboration platforms, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra IDSupport hybrid cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, backups, and monitoringIdentify, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve reported problems including voice, network, identity, endpoint, server, cloud, security, application, and service desk issuesApply modern cybersecurity practices, including vulnerability remediation, patch management, endpoint protection, logging, alerting, security monitoring, privileged access controls, and incident response supportEvaluate, recommend, and implement enhancements and operating procedures that optimize network and system reliability, performance, scalability, recoverability, and survivabilityAssist in the design, planning, and implementation of information systems, network growth, cloud adoption, hybrid connectivity, wireless infrastructure, and secure remote access solutionsConfigure, maintain, test, and document backup, restoration, snapshot, imaging, replication, and disaster recovery proceduresAssist with tier I and II service desk coverage, escalation support, incident resolution, and user enablementPrepare and maintain accurate documentationAdhere to ConServe's Professional Practices Management System (PPMS), Code of Conduct, Compliance Program, information security requirements, and applicable client or regulatory obligationsNon-Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Other duties as assignedEducation:High School Diploma or GEDBachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and IT experienceSkills/Requirements:Five+ (5) years of IT infrastructure, network, systems, cloud, or security administration experienceThree+ (3) years of Network and Systems Administration experience supporting enterprise or regulated environmentsDemonstrated ability to administer Windows-based networks, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, certificate services, and related enterprise servicesWorking knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDriveExperience with virtualization, storage, backups, replication, snapshots, disaster recovery, and business continuity technologiesKnowledge of cybersecurity best practices including vulnerability management, patch management, endpoint protection, logging, alerting, incident response support, and security hardeningAbility to multitask and collaborate effectively with IT, security, compliance, vendors, and business stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on results and service qualityAbility to act independently to resolve problems, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and recommend preventive actionMust be able to provide on-call support on a rotating basisAbility to travel between ConServe's offices as neededU.S. Citizenship or lawful Permanent Resident alien with three or more years as a permanent resident in the United States.Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security ClearanceNo conflicts of interest with ConServe or our ClientsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee must frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.Must occasionally be able to bend, move, climb and lie down in awkward positions.Ability to type on a computer for extended periodsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use and reach with hands, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, talk, see and hear.Ability to drive.Reasonable accommodations may be made to the extent required under applicable law to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.MISSION STATEMENT: ConServe is dedicated to satisfying the needs of our Clients in a manner consistent with improving the human condition, and that will foster the development of long term mutually beneficial relationships with our Clients, our Employees, our Suppliers and Business Partners and the Community as a whole.Disclaimer: The above job description is not a contractual or binding document; it is provided as a guide to the types of duties required to be undertaken.
