Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized computed tomography (CT) imaging services to patients, assisting in diagnoses and treatment planning. Ensure patient safety, proper operation of imaging equipment, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Assess patient conditions and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Follow safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control procedures.
Review and evaluate imaging results for clarity and accuracy before submitting for interpretation.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to optimize imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

Hold active and valid Ohio license with necessary CT certification.
Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent CT imaging experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in operation of CT scanners and related technology.
Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
Be fully vaccinated or meet facility-specific exemption requirements concerning nicotine.
Submit a professional reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in radiology.
