Role Description The Loan Operations Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Silver Spring, MD, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end processing and servicing of commercial and consumer loans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all documentation. Day-to-day tasks include preparing, reviewing, and maintaining loan documents, boarding loans into servicing systems, processing payments, payoffs, and adjustments, and monitoring loan exceptions. The specialist works closely with relationship managers, branch staff, and other internal teams to resolve loan-related inquiries, research discrepancies, and provide high-quality customer service. The role also involves adhering to bank policies, regulatory requirements, and operational controls, while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Loans and Loan Servicing, including payment processing, payoffs, and maintenance activities. Experience working with Loan Documents, including preparation, review, and quality control for accuracy and compliance. Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally. Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with banking operations, loan systems, and regulatory requirements related to lending. Proficiency in standard office software and data entry; comfort learning new systems and tools. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating in person and remotely with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in loan operations, loan processing, or related banking roles preferred; relevant coursework or certifications in finance or banking are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr EagleBank
