Director of Accounting

We are seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to lead accounting operations, financial planning activities, and team development initiatives. This role will partner closely with leadership to drive financial performance, improve reporting processes, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Perform financial analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain financial models, management dashboards, and reporting tools. Evaluate financial and operational results to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Collaborate with business leaders to support planning, budgeting, and decision‑making efforts. Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports for executive leadership. Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close and reporting activities. Drive process improvements and participate in special projects as needed. Provide leadership, coaching, and development for accounting team members. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience. At least 3 years of direct people management experience. Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting skills. Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders and executive leadership. Advanced proficiency with financial systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
