Education MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Experience / Qualifications New graduate or experienced physicians will be considered MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible Position Summary This role is for a physician who wants to practice by providing compassionate, patient‑centered care. Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required. Maintain timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the Medical Center’s office‑based EMR Prescribe medication or therapy when necessary Recommend lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life Explain all medical procedures thoroughly Explain test results and provide patients with plan of care details Consult with other doctors as appropriate about patient’s specific needs Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary clinics Serve on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested Seek to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals Participate in business development and marketing activities to grow the business Understand the physician practice environment Exhibit excellent communication skills at all levels Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment Physical Requirements This job can be physically demanding at times, requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, make sound decisions, and be detail oriented, alert, and self‑motivated. Ability to push or pull up to 40 lbs and carry or lift up to 50 lbs.
