Production and Safety Manager

This role will support a valued client of Manpower! *This is a Onsite position in Kenosha, WI* As a Production & Safety Manager, you will be the driving force behind a client-facing operation, leading workforce performance, safety, productivity, and service delivery to achieve outstanding business results. In this role, you will: Drive a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. Develop and lead supervisors and frontline teams to deliver consistent operational results. Partner to ensure alignment, transparency, and exceptional service delivery. Use data and performance metrics to improve efficiency, solve challenges, and support business growth.

• We're looking for a collaborative, results-oriented leader with experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or similar operational environments. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, workforce management expertise, safety and compliance knowledge, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while building strong relationships with employees and clients alike.
• The role has a direct impact on safety, productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction by translating business objectives into effective onsite execution. Through strong operational leadership and commercial discipline, this position helps sustain profitable client partnerships and reinforces the organization's managed service model.

Job Responsibilities: -Deliver consistent achievement of site productivity, throughput, quality, and service-level commitments while maintaining operational stability in a dynamic production environment.

• Ensure a safe, compliant workplace through strong safety leadership, OSHA adherence, workforce training, and proactive risk mitigation that minimizes incidents and operational disruptions.
• Maintain a high-performing workforce by optimizing staffing levels, labor utilization, employee engagement, and frontline leadership effectiveness.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships by consistently meeting delivery commitments, providing operational transparency, and aligning execution with client expectations.
• Drive operational excellence through disciplined execution, effective resource allocation, and timely resolution of production challenges to ensure reliable business outcomes.
• Leverage operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, improve decision-making, and deliver continuous improvements in productivity, quality, and service performance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement that supports workforce development, operational maturity, and long-term business success.
• Ensure site-level execution effectively balances client priorities, workforce needs, and operational constraints to achieve sustainable performance and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the accountable leader for overall site performance, delivering predictable operational results that strengthen client trust and contribute to organizational growth.
• Success in this role will be measured by the consistent achievement of operational, safety, workforce, and client performance objectives. Key indicators include attainment of productivity and SLA targets, strong safety and compliance results, workforce stability and engagement, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the ability to deliver contractual commitments while maintaining site performance and commercial discipline.

Minimum Required Qualifications/Certifications: -5+ years in a Safety & Production Manager (Manufacturing Environment)

Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: -OSHA 30 Certification preferred -Additional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Workplace Safety are a plus.
