Sales Associate, Trauma (Orange County) - Johnson & Johnson MedTech - Orthopaedics

We are searching for a Sales Associate for the Orange County territory in Los Angeles, California. Key Responsibilities Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers while supporting product conversions with new customers. Assist in the attainment of established sales goals including market share objectives in the prescribed territory. Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through their clinical and product knowledge. Use product knowledge to present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products. Support customers by attending surgeries, ensuring equipment availability, performing tray optimization, and providing Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department consultation. Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance; handle customer requests, manage hospital billing, create and close purchase orders. Share key customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with other sales, clinical, marketing and strategic account teams to improve solutions and service levels; prepare sales reports and documents as required. Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets throughout the assigned area ensuring product availability. Ensure promotional materials are maintained in a presentable manner. Ensure DePuy Synthes services and offerings meet the highest quality standards. Focus on customer satisfaction and retention; improve customers’ insights into DePuy Synthes value proposition and solutions. Differentiate DPS products versus competition by providing unique insights. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience. Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience. Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty. The ability to work in a lab or operating room environment. A valid driver’s license issued in the United States. Ability to travel, which may include weekend and/or overnight travel. Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory. Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills. Efficient, organized, self‑motivated, positive, and pro‑active. Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions preferred. Compensation and Benefits Position is 100% commission/incentive compensation and is eligible for a bi‑weekly draw. Eligible for company-sponsored benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability, business accident insurance, group legal insurance, 401(k), and a long‑term incentive program. Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year; Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year; Washington residents – 56 hours; holiday pay – 13 days (including floating holidays); work, personal and family time – up to 40 hours; parental leave – 480 hours; additional time off benefits available.
