Occ Health Program Coordinator

The Occupational Health Program Coordinator supports Occupational Health operations and leadership with systems and process builds for the advancement of occupational health strategy. Assists the team with development and delivery of training, process creation and documentation, and analysis on current systems to ensure continuity with strategy. Supports the execution of IT initiatives, assessing barriers and opportunities, and proposes solutions.

Position Duties

• Supports the execution of the electronic health record and all associated IT systems within the Occupational Health department. Develops a deep understanding of the electronic record and associated modules to optimize clinical operations. Trains staff in all IT systems in use, ensures company-specific employee lists are current, researches interface errors, assists in maintaining OSHA logs, runs/develops reports that assist in optimization of operations and compliance, maintains and optimize all aspects of the EMR and employee portal.
• Evaluates new employee onboarding processes to continuously improve customer experience and to ensure tasks are aligned with departmental roles.
• Supports Worker Incident/Worker’s Compensation processes. Prepares wage statements as directed by Occ Health nursing staff, evaluates processes to improve workflow and consistency of practices.
• Leads the implementation of key initiatives including Flu POD and Camp Rainbow.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
