Ensure patron safety by actively scanning the water, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies with water rescues, CPR, and first aid.* Assist the Beach Supervisor with managing seasonal staff.* Take charge in emergencies, adhering to established protocols.* Ensure beach facilities are clean and stocked, inform Beach Supervisor of any maintenance needs.Minimum qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent* Strong communication skills* Must obtain Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification prior to the beach opening.* Ability to maintain certification-level physical and menta readiness.* Basic computer and point-of-sale skills are necessary.* Required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays; work schedule will vary.\*\*\*These are seasonal positions only. Successful applicants must provide their own transportation. All applicants must be 16 years of age or older unless otherwise specified. Valid driver's license required. Must pass pre-employment drug test/background check.
