Sr. Payroll Tax Specialist

Primary Location: Charlotte North Carolina V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring Sr. Payroll Tax Specialist for our premier client in Charlotte North Carolina. Education And Experience University (Degree) Preferred 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Work in concert with Payroll Manager to ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner in compliance with payroll laws and regulations. Supervises and controls payroll preparation and production, including regular, special, and supplemental payrolls. Ensures adherence to standards and procedures, and takes corrective action to resolve problems, delays, and inaccuracies. What You’ll Do Review Workday Payroll Tax set up for each legal entity and jurisdiction, identify issues and partner with Alight Tax Filing Services and HRIT to update and correct. Research and resolve payroll tax notices for multi-state tax entities. Effectively resolve and escalation issues, demonstrate excellent record of delivery.
