This role involves providing hospice homecare, primarily handling a caseload of 12-15 patients, with an average of 5 visits per day. The position is ideal for those with at least 3 years of hospice experience, bringing critical assessment skills and autonomy in end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Hospice - Travel

• Provide end-of-life care to adult and geriatric patients
• Handle caseload of 12-15 patients with approximately 5 visits per day
• Manage all aspects of the hospice experience including wound care and medication administration
• Utilize EMR systems like HCHB and manage Pleurx drains
• Coordinate with support teams including Home Care aids and Triage RNs

Requirements of the RN - Hospice - Travel

• 3 years minimum hospice experience, home or inpatient
• BLS certification
• Driver's License, personal vehicle, and car insurance
• Experience with HomeCare/HomeBase EMR preferred
