Cost Accountant (Remote, must be Tampa-based)A fast-growing company is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team. This is a remote role for candidates based in the Tampa, FL area.Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below.Responsibilities:Supporting inventory and cost-related month-end and quarter-end close, including subledger-to-GL reconciliation, and identification and application of inventory adjustmentsPreparing GAAP-compliant journal entries and audit documentationKeeping inventory records accurate and reconciled across multiple tracking platformsHandling transaction processingPartnering cross-functionally with other departments to track down and resolve discrepanciesHelping build out stronger inventory controls and reporting processesWhat we're looking for:A strong foundation in cost accounting and inventory accounting, including how inventory moves from WIP to finished goodsAcquisition integration experience strongly preferred2–5++ years of relevant accounting/finance experience (a degree xhyhwjd in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus)Process-improvement mindset and proven history of implementing process improvementsSolid grasp of GAAPExcel proficiency with formulasSomeone detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and genuinely curiousInterested or know someone who'd be a fit?
