Highly regarded, litigation-focused law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its growing Environmental Law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney looking to transition into environmental law, working alongside a deeply experienced team handling complex, high-stakes matters. The practice is sophisticated and nationally relevant, involving environmental litigation, regulatory compliance, and contaminated site matters, often in collaboration with insurers, municipalities, and private industry clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
• Assist in handling complex environmental litigation matters, including contamination, regulatory, and insurance-related disputes
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and memoranda
• Work closely with senior attorneys, technical experts, and clients to develop case strategy
• Participate in client communications and contribute to case management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and regulatory agencies

Required Qualifications

• 1–5 years of litigation experience (any practice area welcome)
• Strong interest in environmental law and complex litigation
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
• Admission to the California Bar (or ability to become admitted)
