Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic, full-time, in-person role. Step into a supportive educational environment, working with a diverse caseload of approximately 70 students, ranging from preschoolers discovering their voices to high schoolers preparing for the next chapter. This contract opportunity begins at the start of August, offering you the chance to be part of students' growth throughout the entire school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hold or eligibility for state SLP licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus
- Understanding of communication disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to organize caseload and document progress efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students in preschool through 12th grade
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions according to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student learning outcomes
- Write and maintain progress reports and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and positive therapy environment
- Maintain compliance with state and school documentation requirements
