Job Description
Macomb Post Acute Care Center is offering a paid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program for individuals interested in starting a healthcare career. This program combines classroom instruction with hands-on clinical experience in a skilled nursing environment while earning pay during training.
Participants will gain the skills needed to sit for state CNA certification.
Program Details
- Tuition fully covered
- Paid training at $15.50/hour
- Full-time training schedule (approximately 40 hours/week)
- Hands-on resident care experience
After Successful Completion
- Opportunity for full-time employment
- Starting pay of $19.50/hour as a CNA
- Benefits available for eligible employees
What You'll Learn
- Basic nursing and resident care skills
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Communication and teamwork
- Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to complete the training program
- Interest in working in a skilled nursing setting
