Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design therapy strategies to help them achieve their goals for functional independence.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based practices to improve patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Other Health Professionals: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical providers, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, well-rounded care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families on therapeutic approaches to ensure ongoing progress and support within the home environment.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary to keep patients on track for success.

Education

• Earned a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouraged ongoing education and further certifications to enhance professional skills

Certifications

• Active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
• Certification from NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is a must
