Initially focused on producing livestock feed, the plant transitioned into a pet food-only manufacturer in 1972. Notably, our Denver location became the first-ever pet food factory to harness the power of solar energy. We currently produce 260,134 tons annually of Dog Chow®, Cat Chow®, Kit n Kaboodle®, Alpo®, Beneful®, Nestlé Purina ONE Beyond®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, and Pro Plan®. Team members go through a training period and afterwards will be moved to one of several critical factory positions to operate, including Extruder Operator, Utility, Packing Operator, etc. In this position, you will enjoy competitive weekly pay starting at $29.53 an hour during the new hire probation period and increasing to $35.65 an hour when the probationary period has been successfully completed. Train on specific production equipment/machinery in a safe and productive manner. Run unloading, processing, and packing equipment, and serve as backups to operator positions in various departments. Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance/clean and inspect checklist for equipment. Effectively work with interdepartmental personnel to maintain a good flow of safety, quality, and production information throughout the plant. Operate a forklift as needed. Requirements High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience operating and troubleshooting machinery/equipment in a manufacturing, production, agricultural, military, or related environment.
