What You'll Do

Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult patients on an established unit
Manage a typical caseload of approximately 18 patients daily
Prescribe and monitor pharmacological treatments
Assess and treat various disorders including anxiety, mood, personality, psychotic, trauma-related, and substance use disorders
Collaborate with a team of psychologists and advanced practice providers
Document patient encounters using Wellsky EMR in compliance with facility policies
Participate in treatment planning and patient discharge processes
Maintain familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy protocols

What You Need

Valid medical license in Delaware (or eligible for licensure)
Experience in inpatient psychiatry (preferably)
Knowledge of involuntary commitment procedures and psychiatric medications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
