Infant Lead Teacher

Overview The Goddard School in Springboro is seeking responsible, dependable, motivated and caring individuals for a full-time lead teacher position in our Infant program. Our facility is a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft. building with 10 classrooms, a half-court gym, gross motor room and 3 separate playgrounds. Responsibilities Follow state and Goddard regulations and implement developmentally appropriate practices in classroom management. Work with assistant teachers to implement lesson plans in academic and enrichment subject areas. Communicate with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Maintain an aesthetically pleasing and organized classroom environment. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a center or group setting; CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Excellent communication skills, creativity, strong work ethic, and positive energy and enthusiasm for early childhood education. Ability to lift 25 pounds, sustain a high level of activity, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and sitting on the floor. Focus on teamwork and customer service.
