Assistant General ManagerChef Stephanie Izard's restaurant Girl & the Goat is looking for an Assistant General Manager!The right candidate should have a strong focus on management ability, team building, and financial responsibilities. This is a dynamic position that requires a strong passion for both food and people as you will be managing and encouraging the professional growth of a large team of employees.The right candidate will also be expected to uphold the hospitality standards of the Boka Restaurant Group in a fast-paced environment. In this position, a great attitude, problem solving skills, strong communication abilities, flexibility and a hard work ethic go a long way!Qualified candidates MUST possess:A passion for the hospitality industry with at least 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant.Experience with Open Table, Aloha and Microsoft Office programs.Extensive knowledge of food, beer, wine and spirits.A polished, professional, warm and hospitable presenceAbility to run all operations including but not limited to: hiring and training FOH staff, daily financial procedures, guest relations, reservation book management, conducting inspired preshift meetings for staff, staff and management evaluations, maintaining established cost and sales goalsBoka Restaurant Group is an equal opportunity employer.
