Senior Director of Finance

Long Island, NY | $215K–$250K Base + Bonus + Equity

This company is investing in its future, modernizing its operations and looking for a strong finance leader who wants a seat at the table. You’ll work closely with the top executive, influence major business decisions, develop a talented team and have the opportunity to make meaningful improvements across the organization. The compensation package is equally attractive, including a $215K–$250K base, 20% target bonus with significant upside, plus equity.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Accounting and Finance function, including FP&A, close/reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost accounting
• Provide leadership with the financial intelligence behind growth, pricing, margins and profitability decisions
• Bring greater efficiency, visibility and sophistication to financial processes and reporting
• Play a major role in upgrading ERP and finance technology
• Work closely with operations to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Coach and develop the finance team while building a strong, accountable department
• Manage key corporate reporting, treasury, audit and compliance responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Accomplished Finance/Accounting leader with strong FP&A and operational finance experience
• Manufacturing experience highly desired
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Experience improving or implementing ERP/financial systems
• Proven ability to partner with senior leadership while still being comfortable getting into the details
• Track record of mentoring and developing finance professionals
• Medical device, medical technology or another regulated industry background is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/MBA preferred
