Hospital Laboratory Technician I - Blood & Platelet Center

In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a stable blood supply for patients in need. The primary responsibilities include collection of blood and blood components from allogeneic and autologous donors, assessing donor/patient eligibility according to defined criteria, and perform automated and blood collections using apheresis equipment. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and flex to cover other shifts as needed. We are seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated individual who can: Engage with the community to promote blood donations and drive participation at collection sites, contributing to meeting the crucial needs of hospitals and patients. Provide logistical support for all operations, including driving the team to and from sites, setting up equipment, and assisting with event coordination. Utilize software systems for donor registration and data entry, maintaining meticulous records to uphold regulatory standards.
