An industrial repair and machining shop in Columbus, Ohio is hiring a manual machinist to replace a retiring machinist. This is manual work: running a manual lathe and a drill press to make and repair parts to print. It is not a CNC operator seat.
The work: day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, a small shop where you see the whole job from print to finished part.
You bring: real time on a manual lathe and drill press, blueprint reading, and the habit of measuring your own work. Repair-shop experience is a plus.
Pay: based on experience. Immediate interviews.
