2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician

Payrate: up to $34.50

2nd Shift: 2pm -10pm

2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician Details:

Contract to Hire position
$ 34.50 / annually
Second Shift

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including kettles, fillers, conveyors, and packaging lines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and complete corrective repairs to support continuous production.
Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and equipment.
Monitor equipment performance and communicate issues or improvement opportunities to leadership.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
Follow all safety, GMP, and food manufacturing standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

Requirements 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience working with production equipment such as conveyors, pumps, and packaging machinery.
Basic PLC knowledge (Allen-Bradley preferred) is a plus.
Ability to work independently on 2nd shift in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to safety, detail, and overall equipment reliability.
