Ultrasound Technologist *Per Diem* - Providence Valdez

Position is Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours as needed. Located onsite at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, Alaska! Performs all essential functions of the Registered Sonographer. Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis. Providence caregivers are valued. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation. Preferred Qualifications: 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Breast, Vascular including clinical rotation. Why Join Providence?
