HR Administrator

Human Resources Administrator Location: Duffield, VA 24244 Compensation: $19.00–$22.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time, on-site Our client is seeking a professional and service-oriented Human Resources Administrator to provide daily administrative support to the HR department while serving as a point of contact for employees, customers, vendors, and business partners. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and balancing employee support with customer-facing responsibilities. Compensation $19.00–$22.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience Responsibilities Provide timely, courteous, and professional service to employees, customers, vendors, and business partners Assist with employee onboarding, recruitment activities, and employment documentation Support daily HR administrative duties, departmental projects, and compliance requirements Maintain professional working relationships with corporate sales, management, and other internal departments Coordinate catering, communications, supplies, and other arrangements for customer visits and meetings Participate in employee-engagement activities and follow-up efforts across multiple facilities Help maintain HR policies, procedures, employee records, and departmental documentation Develop FAQs, knowledge resources, communication materials, and employee self-service tools Assist with employee communications, announcements, postings, and livestream formats Enter and maintain production labor-hour data accurately Support internal and external employer-branding initiatives Respond to questions, solve routine problems, and direct employees or external contacts to the appropriate resources Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner Perform additional administrative and HR-related duties as assigned by management Qualifications One to three years of experience in human resources, customer service, office administration, or a related area Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer-service mindset with a genuine interest in helping people Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail Ability to balance multiple responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines Professional demeanor when interacting with employees, management, customers, and business partners Strong data-entry and recordkeeping skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to handle employee and company information with discretion and confidentiality Collaborative, dependable, and comfortable working within a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Crawford Thomas Recruiting
