Automotive Quality ManagerOur client, in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an Automotive Quality Manager that will be responsible for leading all quality functions across prototype development, pre-production, launch, and full production. This role ensures compliance with AITF/IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements while driving continuous improvement, defect prevention, and robust launch readiness. The Quality Manager serves as the primary quality interface with customers, suppliers, and internal cross-functional teams.Location: Sterling Heights, MIPay Rate: 130KShift – 1st 6:00am to 4:00pm M-F, with some SaturdaysKey Responsibilities:Lead and maintain the AITF/IATF 16949 Quality Management System, including internal audits, management reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with OEM customer-specific requirements (CSR).Manage quality activities from prototype builds through production launch and mass production.Support prototype and pilot build quality planning, including inspection plans and build quality reviews.Act as the primary customer quality contact, including issue resolution, scorecards, audits, and launches.
